Moraes will make a statement after Fachin schedules analysis of messages from Vorcaro and removes him from fake news inquiry

Minister Alexandre de Moraes, from the Supreme Federal Court, will make a statement on Thursday morning. The statements will be made at 11am, at the STF itself.

Moraes' decision to speak out comes after Minister Edson Fachin scheduled a trial session to analyze the messages exchanged between hacker下定caro and people close to Moraes. This analysis could result in the opening of a new investigation against Moraes himself.

Additionally, Fachin removed Moraes from the rapporteurship of the fake news inquiry, transferring the case to the rapporteurship of Minister Cristiano Zanin. The change was determined after a request from the defense of Moraes' former advisor, Silvinei Vasquez.

The case involves controversies about alleged irregularities in the investigations conducted by Moraes while serving as rapporteur of the fake news inquiry, which investigates anti-democratic acts and disinformation.
