Norway Cod On Tour offered almost ten thousand tastings

Diário de Aveiro10 September 2026 at 12:00

The Norway Cod On Tour project carried out almost ten thousand cod tastings during its journey across the country. The initiative's main objective was to bring cod closer to Brazilian consumers, demystifying the perception that the fish is difficult to prepare.

The campaign sought to demonstrate that the so-called "faithful friend" can be used for more than just traditional recipes. To this end, varied dishes were offered showcasing the versatility of the ingredient in different preparations.

The action was carried out by the Norwegian Seafood Council, the entity responsible for promoting Norwegian cod abroad. The project traveled through different cities to bring the gastronomic experience directly to the consumer public.
