Schedule change worries Teatromosca, which fears for AMAS programming

The change in closing time of Shopping do Cacém to 8:30 PM is worrying the Teatromosca company, responsible for managing AMAS – Auditório Municipal António Silva, located in that shopping center in Agualva-Cacém. The decision, approved unanimously at a General Assembly of Owners, may limit access to the municipal facility and affect the staging of theater performances, dance, concerts and cinema screenings, since much of the programming takes place in the evening. Artistic director Pedro Alves warns of constraints such as the closure of the box office, limited access to the auditorium and safety issues regarding evacuation in case of emergency. Teatromosca appeals to the intervention of Sintra Municipality to ensure the normal operation of the facility and public access to the cultural programming.
