The concentration of schools in the Greater Lisbon region, one of the most densely populated in the country, exacerbates the difficulties in the allocation of teachers, particularly in subjects where the shortage of teachers is most acute.
The government official acknowledges that it will be necessary to find solutions to ensure that all schools can start the school year with minimum operating conditions, although no concrete measures have been announced to resolve the problem.
