VISEU: Radial de Santiago hosts "Sunset Meeting Point" to bring together entrepreneurs and professionals from the region

Santiago Urban Park in Viseu hosts this Friday, September 11, the "Sunset Meeting Point" event, an initiative that aims to bring together entrepreneurs and professionals from the region for an informal moment of sharing, networking and creating new connections.

The meeting is promoted jointly by four entities: INterioriza-te, Omplo, Digital Nomads Viseu District and AIRV. These organizations joined forces to create an event that aims to strengthen the network of contacts between professionals and entrepreneurs in the Viseu region.

The event is part of the region's initiatives to boost the local business and professional ecosystem, offering a relaxed environment where participants can exchange experiences and establish new professional partnerships.

Inflation rises to 3.3% in August

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Portugal reached 3.3% in August, representing a rise of 0.3 percentage points compared to July, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INE). Fuels were the main driver of this acceleration, while underlying inflation stood at 2.6%. The energy products aggregate registered a year-on-year increase of 12.2%. The Transport and Restaurants and accommodation services sectors were the biggest positive contributors to the index variation, contrary to the areas of Information and communication and Clothing and footwear. The Harmonized Consumer Price Index (HCPI) stood at 3.6% in year-on-year variation.
