National Futevolei Championship takes place on September 12th and 13th in Carvoeiro

Praia do Carvoeiro in Lagoa hosts on September 12th and 13th the final of the 2026 National Futevolei Championship, bringing together the best national athletes in men's and women's competitions.

The men's competition features 12 national duos, a total of 24 athletes divided into four groups, representing six clubs: CD Póvoa, CRD Santaluziense, FC 11 Esperanças, Imortal DC, PGCN Quinta Arena and Politécnico do Porto. On Saturday, September 12th, the group stage takes place between 10 AM and 2 PM, with 12 matches, followed by the round of 16 and quarter-finals starting at 2 PM. On Sunday, September 13th, the semi-finals, the 3rd and 4th place match and the men's final take place at 5 PM.

The women's competition involves the four best national duos from the clubs CRD Santaluziense, FC 11 Esperanças and PGCN Quinta Arena, taking place entirely on Sunday, September 13th. The group stage runs between 10 AM and 12 PM, with six matches, followed by the eliminations, semi-finals, 3rd and 4th place match and the final at 3:30 PM.

This year's edition distributes a total prize money of 3,080 euros and can be followed live on the FutevoleiTV channel on YouTube and on the official website of the sport. The competition is organized by the National Futevolei Federation, with the support of the Municipality of Lagoa.
