Government creates group to prevent female genital mutilation

The Government created a temporary working group to analyze the prevention of female genital mutilation and other harmful practices. The dispatch was published this Wednesday in the Official Gazette.

The group will be coordinated by the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality. The document establishes a deadline of 182 days for the presentation of the results of the work.
