PSD again defended the effective participation of Madeira in the National Qualifications System (SNQ) during the discussion in detail of a bill presented by the Legislative Assembly of Madeira in the Assembly of the Republic. The party considered it essential that the Autonomous Region have greater intervention in national decision-making processes that directly affect its territory.
Bill No. 13/XVII/1st, which was the subject of discussion last Tuesday in the Committee on Labour and Social Security, aims precisely to reinforce the role of the Autonomous Regions in decision-making processes at the national level. The legislation addresses issues related to vocational training and qualifications policies that have direct impact on regional territories.
The debate took place within the framework of the discussion in detail, where deputies analyzed the details and implications of the bill. This initiative of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira comes in the context of a long-standing claim by the autonomous regions regarding their participation in policies that concern their territories.
