Hariany Almeida keeps perfumes in the refrigerator. Does the habit work?

Keeping perfume in the refrigerator might seem like a beauty trick passed down through generations or across social media profiles. This happened after Hariany Almeida showed followers that she keeps some of her bottles refrigerated. The idea, linked to the belief that cold would make the fragrance more intense and help with longevity, sparked curiosity among those who don't know if the habit is actually a good strategy for preserving perfumes.

The short answer is: no. Cooling a perfume does not increase the concentration of the essence nor make it last longer on the skin. The concentration is determined by the fragrance's own formulation, not by the temperature at which the product is stored.

What temperature can influence is the preservation of the product. In this sense, the cold may even help preserve the perfume longer, but it does not alter the intensity or longevity characteristics of the fragrance.

Seinfeld at Commedia a La Carte festival causes withdrawals and leaves César Mourão in a bind

The confirmation of Jerry Seinfeld as headliner of the Commedia a La Carte festival, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of César Mourão's improv collective in Lisbon, triggered a wave of withdrawals among Portuguese creators. Artists such as Conjunto Cuca Monga, Carolina Deslandes, Bárbara Deslandes and Tatanka (in "Tributo Pop"), Inês Aires Pereira and the duo Cebola Mol cancelled their performances in protest against the American comedian's declared support for Israel's military operations in Gaza. Inês Aires Pereira publicly stated that she cannot "relativize or normalize a genocide". The event's organizers, which bring together Last Tour and Aquele Abraço, as well as César Mourão himself, remain silent on the crisis while assessing the contractual consequences of the withdrawals.
