The Madrid City Council has created a security and emergency plan composed of approximately 1,350 personnel for the Formula 1 Grand Prix that will take place in the capital from Friday, September 11, to Sunday, September 13. The municipal plan will be concentrated mainly outside the Ifema circuit and will include more than 1,000 municipal police officers. Additionally, the plan includes the participation of more than 250 SAMUR-Civil Protection personnel and more than 60 firefighters over the three days of the event. The security plan also has the support of approximately 60 mobility agents to guarantee organization during the competition.
