A short circuit in an electrical panel caused a fire in the early hours of this Thursday on Rua do Santo, in the Santo Amaro area, parish of São Martinho, in Funchal. The incident occurred at 00:45 and affected at least five dwellings, which were left without electricity for some time.

The Funchal Professional Firefighters were mobilized to the location with 8 firefighters supported by 2 vehicles.
