The Pestana hotel group launched, on Tuesday the 8th, the first stone of its new tourism investment in Porto Covo, in the municipality of Sines. The event marks the beginning of the construction of a new development on the Alentejo coast.

The project represents an expansion of the Pestana Group in the region, which already has a presence in the Portuguese hotel sector. Porto Covo is a coastal locality known for its tourism and beaches.

With this investment, the Pestana Group reinforces its commitment to the Alentejo tourism market, where it intends to continue growing. The development will contribute to the tourism development of the Porto Covo area.

E-REDES inaugurated the new Arregota Nova Substation in Grândola, an investment of approximately four million euros aimed at reinforcing the capacity and security of the electrical grid in the Alentejo Coast.
