City Council dismisses "megatorres" in Amparo

The Funchal City Council dismissed the possibility of constructing "megatorres" in the Amparo area. The local authority guarantees that there is no approved project for the area in question.

The Funchal municipal authority has not yet defined what will be built on the 29 thousand square meters designated for the urban intervention in the Amparo area.

Independent councilors expressed concern over the lack of information and demand answers to 55 questions about the planned intervention for the area.

The news appears in Thursday's edition of DIÁRIO, which highlights the municipal executive's dismissal of the "megatorres".
