E-REDES is investing four million euros in the construction of a new substation in Grândola. This infrastructure represents a significant investment in the modernization of the electricity grid in the Alentejo Litoral region.
The new substation will directly benefit 3,700 households and 46 companies in the area. This reinforcement will allow for improved quality of electricity distribution service for consumers in the area.
The project also aims to reinforce the electricity grid capacity in the municipalities of Grândola, Alcácer do Sal and Santiago do Cacém. With this intervention, the goal is to ensure greater reliability and robustness of electricity supply in this southern region of the country.
