Energy costs are a concern for 80% of Portuguese people, revealing a high level of anxiety regarding spending on electricity, gas and other domestic energy services.
Regarding transport fuels, 77% of Portuguese people express apprehension about the amount spent on petrol or diesel, one of the highest percentages among the countries studied as part of this analysis.
This level of concern about energy costs positions Portugal above the European average, indicating that Portuguese consumers face particularly intense pressure regarding energy spending, both in the domestic context and in mobility.
