Companies and entities from the innovation ecosystem will gather in Évora on September 29, at the Alentejo Science and Technology Park (PACT), for the Challenge4Innovation event - Opportunities for Partnerships. The initiative, jointly organized by ADRAL - Alentejo Regional Development Agency and PACT, will take place between 10:00 and 14:00 and aims to bring together companies seeking technological solutions with organizations capable of developing or providing these answers.
The event is based on an open innovation model, where companies can externally search for knowledge, technology or partners to address challenges in their activity. The program includes the presentation of challenges identified by companies and solutions to address them, information about funding opportunities and B2B meetings between participants.
Challenge4Innovation is integrated into the DRIVEN - Open Innovation Driven Economy project, developed in the cross-border cooperation area between Portugal and Spain. The project has approved investment of 1,134,213.30 euros, with ADRAL's participation representing 100 thousand euros with a funding rate of 75%. DRIVEN is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal Programme (POCTEP) 2021-2027.
The DRIVEN consortium brings together entities from both sides of the border, including FUNDECYT-PCTEX as the coordinating body, the chambers of commerce of Cáceres and Badajoz, IPN - Business Incubator, TAGUSVALLEY - Science and Technology Park, in addition to ADRAL and PACT. The project aims to create an open innovation model tailored to the economic and territorial characteristics of the cross-border region, focusing on knowledge transfer to the economy and promoting open innovation in the EUROACE region.
