The Public Prosecutor's Office has given the criminal investigation into the disappearance of the young Englishman Julian Amaral as concluded, whose body was found in the Tagus river. The young man had been missing since Wednesday and was located four days later.
The authorities indicate that everything points to the death having occurred by drowning, with no evidence of crime having been found in the investigation opened. The case was thus closed by the Public Prosecutor's Office without giving rise to any charges.
