A 5-year-old boy was left hanging outside a window on the sixth floor of a residential building in the city of Shuozhou, Shanxi province, China. The child was alone at home when he ended up in a situation of imminent risk of falling, being saved because his head got stuck in the security bars of the window.
The incident occurred last Saturday (5) and could have ended in tragedy. The boy was alone in the apartment when he found himself hanging outside the window, with his body suspended in the air.
An Yilong, the building's janitor, noticed the situation and decided to act. Fearing what could happen, the employee took a risk and hung from the structure to hold the boy and prevent the fall, remaining there until the rescue teams arrived.
Among the difficulties faced at first was the need to get into the apartment. The rescue teams were called and managed to rescue the child, who did not suffer serious injuries according to the incident report.
