The publisher announced that a new book in the illustrated Gruffalo series will be published on the 16th of this month. The work is by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, creators of the well-known character.

In this new story, the Gruffalo and his daughter face a great challenge with Grandmother's visit, for whom "only the best will do". The dilemma that settles in the forest is deciding what to cook to welcome her.

The little Mouse reappears in the narrative, using his characteristic cunning to try not to be part of the menu, in a return to the kind of situation that made the series popular with younger readers.
