Vila-real's Mare de Déu de Gràcia festivities celebrated their halfway point this Wednesday with one of the most anticipated events on the festive calendar. The streets of the town were filled with imagination thanks to Bous, the climbing of the bell tower and costumes, which were the main protagonists of this central day of the celebrations.
More than 800 penyistes belonging to half a hundred festive collectives participated in the traditional costume dinner organized by the Comissió de Penyes. This is one of the most relaxed events of the festivities, where surprising outfits, impossible characters and a great appetite for partying were all present.
The Comissió de Penyes rescued and promoted this costume dinner during last year's celebrations, thus recovering a tradition that had been relegated and returning it to the center of the Mare de Déu de Gràcia festivities.
