Parque de Santa Catarina, in Funchal, hosted an outdoor cinema session tonight that registered a "full house." Cinema enthusiasts wanted to watch the film "The Devil Wears Prada 2," shown on the giant screen mounted especially for the event.
The initiative is called "Cinema da Praça" and is being promoted nationwide by the Continente supermarket chain. This was the first time the event came to Funchal, bringing the outdoor cinema experience to Madeira's capital.
