Institutions demand "normalization" of Republic funds

Observador9 September 2026 at 21:07

Leaders of institutions met with the Executive leader to discuss the 2027 Regional Budget. During the meeting, institutions requested a "normalization" of funds coming from the Republic.

The requests focused on the continuity of investments, especially in the social sector. Institutions warned that these areas faced significant budget reductions.

According to the data presented, investments in the social sector had their funds reduced by 40%. This decrease was the main point of concern during the meeting.

Institutions intend that the 2027 Regional Budget restore previous funding levels, thus guaranteeing the continuity of the affected social services.
