The former Portuguese prime minister José Sócrates returns to court one year later to explain what is missing in Operation Marquês, a judicial process related to suspicions of economic crimes and corruption.

Sócrates returns to the courtroom after having obtained a judicial victory against the Portuguese State. The court decided to award him compensation of 15 thousand euros for violation of judicial secrecy.

The Public Ministry has already appealed the decision that gave reason to Sócrates, expressing disagreement with the compensation awarded.
