iOS 27, the new generation of the iPhone's operating system, already has a date to be downloaded: September 14. Apple confirmed the official release date of the system this Wednesday (9) when presenting the new iPhone 18 Pro.
This year, iOS 27 brings a revamped version of Siri, dubbed Siri AI, new artificial intelligence tools for Apple Intelligence, in addition to parental control features.
This year, models from the iPhone 11, from 2019, will have access to the new iOS — no device was excluded in relation to last year —, but not all will have access to the same tools.
The only models to have full access to the update are the Pro models from the iPhone 17 lineup, in addition to the iPhone Air, having a smoother version of Siri AI and the ability to run AI models on the device itself. From the standard iPhone 17 models up to the iPhone 15 Pro lineup, resource availability is almost complete, including Siri AI and Apple Intelligence tools.
