A 69-year-old man died this Wednesday as a result of an Asian wasp sting. The incident was recorded on Rua do Amieiral in Jugueiros, Felgueiras. The victim was grape picking when he was stung.
The Felgueiras Volunteer firefighters went to the scene and the VMER was called for rescue operations, but the man, from Vila Verde, ultimately did not survive.
The body was taken to the Guimarães Hospital morgue. The incident was reported by Felgueiras Diário.
