Guto Miguel wins and advances to the quarterfinals of the US Open Junior

The 17-year-old Brazilian tennis player Guto Miguel defeated Hong Kong athlete Kai Thompson on Wednesday (09) and advanced to the quarterfinals of the US Open Junior. The Brazilian started the first set very well, managed two breaks, and closed it out comfortably at 6/2. In the second set, Guto struggled at the beginning and was broken, with Kai Thompson going up 3-0, but the Brazilian reacted and closed the set at 6/4.

Now, Guto Miguel is waiting for the winner of the match between French player Daniel Jade and American player Jordan Lee. The date and time of the next match will still be determined by the competition organizers, and the broadcast will be on Disney+.
