AJP Tour in Capão da Canoa (RS) ends with Alliance in the lead and Equipe A in second place

The AJP Tour Capão da Canoa International Jiu-Jitsu Championship ended with Alliance leading the medal tally after two days of competition at Ginásio Municipal Otto Birlem, in Capão da Canoa, in Rio Grande do Sul. The event took place on September 5th and 6th and brought together approximately 500 athletes.

The champions accumulated 48 golds, 28 silvers and 15 bronzes. Equipe A appeared right behind, with 21 golds, 18 silvers and six bronzes.

In the men's professional black belt division, Cristian Polnov, from New Way Jiu Jitsu, won the title in the 77 kg category. João Padilha took the silver and Brucean Ferraz finished with the bronze. In the 85 kg category, Antonio Souza, from Mestre Julio Secco, was champion, followed by Alexsandro Pilonetto and Bruno Silva.

The competition also had black belt champions in the master divisions. Paulo Martins, Daniel Martins, Guilherme Criscuoli and Miller Kucharski won in Master 1. In Master 2, the titles went to Rafael Bonfim and Nardel Zimmermann.
