Alfaia inaugurates «Ritual Bodies» with works by Christine Henry and Joana Coelho

Barlavento9 September 2026 at 19:35

The Alfaia gallery inaugurated the exhibition «Ritual Bodies», which presents works by artists Christine Henry and Joana Coelho. The exhibition brings together works from two creators of different generations and contexts, whose artistic practices find deep resonances in common themes.

The exhibited works explore the relationship between body, nature, animality and memory. These concepts function as guiding threads that bring the two artists together, despite their differences in trajectory and generation.

The exhibition «Ritual Bodies» is open to the public at the Alfaia gallery, offering visitors the opportunity to discover how these two artists approach, each in their own way, these universal themes.
