The Portuguese government announced two measures to reduce the impact of the increase in the cost of living. The first consists of a bonus for approximately two million pensioners with pensions up to 1,611 euros, which will be paid at the end of the year. The second measure is an IRS relief up to the sixth bracket, which should be felt already in November. The two measures will have a total cost of approximately 800 million euros for the State.
