Transparency Committee to review Chega complaint

The president of the Assembly of the Republic, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, has referred the complaint filed by Rui Paulo Sousa to the Transparency Committee.

The Chega party is behind this complaint against Socialist MP José Carlos Barbosa.

The Socialist José Carlos Barbosa is accused of having uttered insults.

The Transparency Committee will now review this complaint to assess whether there was a violation of the rules of conduct of MPs.
