PENALVA DO CASTELO: Municipality challenges participants to create new recipes with Apple Bravo de Esmolfe

The Municipal Council of Penalva do Castelo is promoting the 10th edition of the "Delícia de Maçã Bravo de Esmolfe" Contest, an initiative integrated into the program of the XXX Fair of Apple Bravo de Esmolfe. The main objective of the contest is to encourage creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship around this product, which is considered one of the most emblematic of the municipality.

Participants are challenged to create new recipes using Apple Bravo de Esmolfe as the main ingredient. This apple variety is a traditional product of the region and represents an added value for the economic and gastronomic development of Penalva do Castelo.

The competition is integrated into the annual fair dedicated to this fruit, which this year celebrates its 30th edition, demonstrating the importance that Apple Bravo de Esmolfe has for the local community and for the enhancement of the territory.

The National School of Public Administration (Enap) has opened registrations for 13 free and remote courses aimed at municipal, state, and federal public servants.
