Brazilian Color Conference Holds First International Edition in Portugal

oglobo9 September 2026 at 17:59

The Brazilian Color Conference holds its first international edition in Portugal. The event takes place on September 18 and 19 in the city of Porto, marking the fifth edition of the meeting that was previously held four times in Brazil. The conference features the theme "Colors that Care" and includes a program dedicated to the relationships between colors, behavior, well-being, fashion, neuroscience, inclusion, and market.

The expectation is to gather approximately 130 participants from different regions of Brazil, Portugal, and other European countries. The event was conceived by Luciana Ulrich, style consultant and color specialist, founder of Studio Immagine.

The choice of Portugal as a destination follows a movement started four years ago. In 2022, Studio Immagine opened its first branch outside Brazil in Porto, demonstrating the company's international expansion.

According to Luciana Ulrich, interest in personal coloring and image consulting has been growing in the European market. The founder states that over the past two years she has noticed in Portugal a movement very similar to what previously occurred in Brazil.

"The Feiras Novas are a meeting point"

José Pedro Ribeiro Pereira, a 22-year-old young man from Fontão, won the contest to create the image for the Feiras Novas, a traditional pilgrimage in the Minho region. His proposal placed the woman of the Feiras Novas as the central figure, surrounded by a family sequence with the grandfather, the son, and the grandson, representing what, for José Pedro, distinguishes the pilgrimage: the people who come together. The young man, who has been drawing since childhood, did not expect the amount of positive reactions his work received, considering that this victory represents a step towards what he has wanted to do since he was little.
