Study aims to understand fish consumption habits and perception of aquaculture in Madeira

The Aquafish0.0 project is developing a study to better understand the fish consumption habits of the population of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The study also aims to analyze the population's knowledge and perceptions about aquaculture and about the valorization of fish by-products.

ARDITI - Regional Agency for the Development of Research, Technology and Innovation is a partner in this project, contributing to its implementation in the region.

The study seeks to gain a deeper understanding of the behavior of fish consumers in Madeira, collecting data about their dietary habits related to seafood products.

Through this research, Aquafish0.0 aims to obtain relevant information that can contribute to the development of the aquaculture sector and to a better valorization of fishery resources in the region.

A case review published by a researcher from Leicester NHS Trust reports the case of a child who arrived at the emergency room with a rash without apparent causes, returning two weeks later with worsening symptoms including pain on touch and peeling. Doctors warn about the need for awareness regarding the risks of prolonged use of electronic devices near the skin.
