The Russian presidency today admitted the possibility of a trilateral meeting between the leaders of Russia, Vladimir Putin, of the United States, Donald Trump, and of China, Xi Jinping, during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit scheduled for November.
The bilateral meeting takes place in the Chinese city of Shenzhen, in southern China, where the multilateral economic forum is scheduled to be held.
This could be a meeting of great diplomatic relevance, bringing together the leaders of the three largest world powers at the same forum for the first time under the current administrations.
The APEC summit regularly brings together economies from the Asia-Pacific region and constitutes a platform for dialogue on regional trade and economic issues.
