DGArtes funding exhausted and leaves approximately one third of eligible applications without support in the Disciplinary Crossover call

The Direção-Geral das Artes (DGArtes) released the final results of the call for Project Support in Creation and Programming in the Disciplinary Crossover domain, within the 2025 Project Support Program. Of 283 submitted applications, only 99 artistic projects obtained public funding, totaling 2,455,000 euros. The budget allocation was exhausted, leaving 95 eligible applications without support, although they had achieved the minimum score required for a positive evaluation.

Of the 108 applications that did not receive funding, 95 were due to lack of funds and 13 for not reaching the minimum threshold of 60% in the qualitative assessment. Additionally, 76 projects were excluded for not meeting the requirements of the Opening Notice. Of the 99 funded
