Ventura accuses Minister of Justice of lying and covering up for Luís Neves

The leader of the Chega party, André Ventura, accused the Minister of Justice of lying and covering up for Luís Neves. Ventura made this accusation during a public address, questioning the official's conduct.

According to Ventura, there are two possibilities regarding the situation. The first is that the Judicial Police may be withholding information from the Minister of Justice. The second is that the Minister herself may be lying to cover up for her colleague from the Interior Administration.

Luís Neves is the central figure in this controversy, being involved in a situation that prompted Ventura's criticism. The Chega leader suggests there is a lack of transparency on the part of the executive.

Ventura's accusation comes in a context of political tension, with the Chega party pressuring the government on this matter. The Minister of Justice has not yet formally responded to the accusations.
