Vila-real begins the school year with 7,800 students and Benlloch claims works at Concepción Arenal

The municipality of Vila-real began the 2026-2027 school year with a total of 7,800 students. The distribution of students includes 4,450 students in Infant and Primary Education, of which 380 correspond to schooling of 3-year-old children, 3,100 students in secondary education and 250 in the baccalaureate.

Mayor José Benlloch of Vila-real, accompanied by Deputy Mayor and Public Services Councilor Maria Fajardo and Education Councilor Anna Vicens, visited the Concepción Arenal school to mark the start of the school year.

During the visit, Benlloch took the opportunity to claim the necessary works at the Concepción Arenal school, highlighting the importance of investments in the municipality's educational infrastructure.

The local authorities thus demonstrated their commitment to the education sector by starting the school year with an institutional visit to one of the city's schools.
