CDS-PP Praises Ivone Silva for the Paraglider's "Historic and Overcoming Feat"

CDS-PP praised paraglider Ivone Silva for the "historic and overcoming feat" she achieved by becoming Junior Paragliding World Champion. The tribute was made through a Vote of Congratulations presented by deputy Sara Madalena in the Madeira Legislative Assembly.

Ivone Silva is from the parish of Canhas, in the municipality of Ponta do Sol, on the Island of Madeira. The athlete was congratulated for the sporting achievement that represents a milestone in her career and for the region.

Sara Madalena, CDS-PP deputy from Madeira, was responsible for submitting the congratulation document, publicly recognizing the young athlete's achievement.

The title of Junior Paragliding World Champion won by Ivone Silva constitutes a historic milestone for the athlete and for the region, having deserved the recognition of the Madeiran political class through this official commendation.
