The coach of Estrela da Amadora, Pepa, expressed indignation today with the decision of the Portuguese League to ban Estádio José Gomes from hosting the match against Sporting de Braga, regarding the delay of the third round of the I Liga of football. The technician considered the situation "strange" and "outrageous", expressing his displeasure publicly.
Estrela da Amadora, a team that is still undefeated in the current championship, will have to play the aforementioned match at a borrowed home, more specifically in Alverca. This situation is due to the fact that Estádio José Gomes, located in Amadora, was banned by the Portuguese League, thus making it impossible to hold the match at home.
The delayed challenge against Sporting de Braga, known as the "warriors of Minho", was scheduled for Thursday. Due to the ban on their usual stadium, the Estrela da Amadora team was forced to look for an alternative to host the minhoto opponent, opting for the Estádio de Alverca as a temporary solution.
