Timor-Leste and Northern Australia sign agreements

Timor-Leste and the Northern Territory of Australia signed cooperation agreements as part of a strategic partnership. The cooperation covers various areas, including education, health, arts and culture, trade and business, among other sectors.

This partnership is integrated within the Strategic Partnership Agreement between Timor-Leste and the Northern Territory for the period 2023 to 2027. The agreement aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the two regions in multiple domains.

Resumption of radiotherapy in Évora conditional on completion of tests and licensing

The Local Health Unit of Central Alentejo clarified that the resumption of treatments at the Radiotherapy Unit in Évora, closed since June 1st for renovation and modernization, is conditional on the completion of technical tests and obtaining mandatory licenses. ULSAC guaranteed that continuity of care is ensured and that the investment aims to guarantee a modern, safe and sustainable radiotherapy service for Central Alentejo.

Local Support Centre for Migrant Integration "born" at the University of Évora
