Ricardo Araújo received a delegation from Guinea-Bissau for a working meeting aimed at reinforcing institutional cooperation between the two parties. The meeting allowed for understanding the mission's objectives, deepening dialogue and identifying areas where Guimarães' experience can contribute to local capacity building and development, in a logic of proximity and shared knowledge.
The two-day program includes contacts with different entities in the municipality of Guimarães, including visits to A Oficina/Centro Cultural Vila Flor, UNU-EGOV, Curtir Ciência and the Association of African Cultures and Peoples of Guimarães. These visits allow for learning about projects in the areas of culture, digital governance, science, education, integration and community participation.
The delegation also visited the company Soguima, establishing a first contact for the development of future opportunities for cooperation and business negotiation. This visit represents an economic dimension in the mission's agenda.
The mission continues on Wednesday with an agenda dedicated to the economy, territorial valorization, digital transformation, sustainability and environmental education, including contacts with various entities in the municipality.
