The island of Porto Santo will host, on September 20, at 11:00 AM, the traditional Blessing of Helmets, an initiative that brings together motorcyclists around faith and the promotion of responsible and safe driving. The celebration will take place at the Church of Nossa Senhora da Piedade, in Porto Santo, as part of an initiative that takes place simultaneously in various locations across the country and on the islands.
The initiative is guided by the values of faith, responsibility, and safety, aiming to provide a moment of gathering and prayer among motorcyclists, commending to God those who daily travel the roads.
In Porto Santo, the organization counts on the participation of the Parish of Porto Santo, the Clube Motards Madeira, and the Motards Porto Santo, who are joining this moment of a religious nature and awareness-raising for road safety.
The celebration aims to unite the spiritual dimension with responsibility on the road, in a gesture of blessing and protection for motorcyclists, their families, and all those who share the roadways, inviting motorcyclists to participate in this celebration as a moment of fellowship and renewal of the commitment to responsible driving.
