In Rize, Turkey, two people were rescued after an emergency landing at sea. The two men, Belgian nationals, were traveling in a small plane that suffered an engine failure during flight.

The two men had taken off from Batumi airport but could not reach the nearest airport and were forced to make an emergency landing at sea.

The authorities rescued the occupants after they had remained waiting on top of the plane. They were then transferred to a boat that took them to the hospital.

The two people were taken to the hospital to confirm they are in good health after the incident.
