Sérgio Guelho reached the milestone of 25 games in the Portuguese I League by directing, on Saturday, the match between Marítimo and Benfica, from the fifth round of the championship.

The game in question was refereed by a team entirely composed of referees from the Guarda Football Association (AFG), of which Sérgio Guelho is a member.

In addition to Sérgio Guelho, the refereeing team included assistants Hugo Santos and André Ferreira, thus completing the trio of game officials from the AFG.

The confrontation between Marítimo and Benfica ended with victory for the reds, thus completing another performance by Sérgio Guelho in the elite of Portuguese football.
