Prime Minister guarantees investment in 200 schools

Prime Minister Luís Montenegro announced the guarantee of investment in 200 schools. This is a promise made within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Program.

According to data presented by Montenegro, the PRR has achieved revitalization interventions in 87 schools to date. The number of schools covered by the investment is lower than the 200 schools promised.

The announcement comes in the context of debates about the modernization and maintenance of school infrastructure in Portugal. The Recovery and Resilience Plan is the European instrument that finances these interventions.
