The management of Correios announced the suspension of payroll loan management by the company Safe Consig on the Artemis platform. The state-owned company informed that it will temporarily take over the service and that new operations will be suspended until the end of the month, but highlighted that existing contracts will not be affected and will continue with the discounts processed normally in payroll. Loans linked to the Postalis pension fund remain unchanged and are not subject to the suspension.
Federal Police is investigating whether lobbyist Roberta Luchsinger, friend of businessman Fabio Luis Lula da Silva, Lulinha, President Lula's son, mediated the deal between the technology company and the state-owned company. The suspicion is that she acted to favor Safe Consig in the negotiation with Correios.
A previous report revealed that the PF found, on Luchsinger's phone, the draft of a contract between RL Consultoria e Intermediações, her company, and another unspecified party. GLOBO was the outlet responsible for the revelations that prompted the investigation. Correios issued an official note confirming the suspension and guaranteeing the continuity of already contracted services.
