The British actor Noel Clarke, known for his role in Doctor Who, was accused of a series of sexual crimes against five women, related to alleged cases that occurred between 2007 and 2016. Clarke is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on October 21.
The Metropolitan Police reported that the charges are the result of an investigation conducted by detectives, initiated in September 2025. The actor, then in his 40s, was first arrested in connection with the investigation on September 25, 2025. Subsequently, a dossier of evidence was presented to the Crown Prosecution Service, which authorized the charges.
Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney, whose team is leading the investigation, stated that the women linked to these charges continue to receive support from specially trained officers. The police urged all people who have been victims of sexual assault to come forward, ensuring that information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
