Matthew Exton, 43, invaded a restaurant and pointed a gun at his ex-wife, threatening to kill her. The victim survived thanks to an unexpected detail.
The pistol's safety lock was engaged, which prevented the gun from firing. While Exton tried to unlock the device, restaurant employees intervened and attacked him.
