Ukrainian drones attacked a Russian naval base in the Black Sea, with Kiev claiming to have destroyed a rare Su-33 fighter, a helicopter and radar systems. Ukrainian forces, through commander of special operations Brovdi, claimed responsibility for the attack.
One of the main targets was the naval base of Novorossiysk, located on the Russian coast of the Black Sea. According to Brovdi, several Russian military ships were hit during the attack, including vessels capable of transporting missiles.
This attack represents another action by Ukrainian forces against Russian military targets in the context of the ongoing conflict. The destruction of a Su-33, one of the most sophisticated combat aircraft in Russian naval aviation, would constitute a significant loss for Russian forces.
