D. Maria Celeste Fernandes passed away at Penafiel Hospital at the age of 92. She was the widow of S. João da Silva and mother of Mr. Américo Silva, D. Conceição Silva, D. Engrácia Silva, Mr. José Maria Silva, D. Lúcia Silva and Mr. Manuel Silva. The deceased was a resident of Rua D. Maria II in Margaride, Felgueiras.
Her daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren announced the passing of their loved one, expressing deep sorrow and sadness at the loss.
The body was lying in state at the Chapel of the Resurrection in Margaride, Felgueiras, starting at 6 PM on September 9th.
The funeral ceremonies took place on Thursday, September 10th, at 3:45 PM, departing from the aforementioned chapel to the Main Church of Margaride, where they were held at 4 PM. After the ceremonies, the burial took place at the Municipal Cemetery.
